At First Congregational Church of Fairhaven, we are always excited to welcome visitors. We hope you will join us for a service and we want to make your visit as comfortable as possible.
The First Congregational Church opens its doors to all. We are a warm church family where visitors become friends and where caring for each other becomes a way of life. Our church recognizes Jesus Christ as our head and the Holy Spirit as our continuing guide and power in daily living.
When you enter FCC you will find a warm greeting without any pressure. Come as you are, wearing jeans or suits; comfortable in your faith or full of questions; alone, or with family and friends.
We affirm each person as a child of God and we invite everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, age, ability, or financial situation to walk with us in a faith journey responsive to God’s call
Our church is located at 34 Center St and parking is on William and Center streets, with one accessible parking space. Inside, at the William St. entrance, we have an elevator for those with mobility restrictions or young children to carry.
When you walk in, introduce yourself to one of our greeters; they can show where everything is. They will help you find the Sunday School room and the fellowship room. If you have questions about the service itself, the greeters are able to provide helpful answers.
Be sure to hang around after the service, join us for coffee, and meet our pastor and many other people in the church. We would love to get to know you so you are a familiar face the next time you come.
