Our mission work includes both monetary donations and “hands-on” work. Over the years, we have contributed to Community Nurses, Neediest Family Fund, Child & Family Services, Providence Ronald McDonald House, Mobile Ministries, The Women’s Center, Inter-Church Council of Greater New Bedford, Habitat for Humanity, Sister Rose House, and other local organizations.
Church members and friends have volunteered at Gifts-to-Give, worked on a Habitat for Humanity building in Wareham, served lunch monthly at Market Ministries Soup Kitchen, and served breakfast Mercy, Meals and More.
Our national donations include Wounded Warriors, Heifer International, a clothing drive for Afghan Refugees, and support for Ukraine. We respond to current needs world-wide as they arise. Yearly, we contribute to national United Church of Christ offerings including Neighbors-in-Need, One Great Hour of Sharing, Strengthen the Church, and Veterans of the Cross/The Christmas Fund.
