SundaySchool - First Congregational Church of Fairhaven

Sunday School classes are provided for children and youth from pre-school to high school from September through mid-June. The children worship in the sanctuary for the first 20 minutes and are then dismissed to go to their classes.

"Bible Adventures"

Grades PreK-7

Children gather weekly to learn about Jesus and his love. Using prayer, crafts, games and stories, children grow in the Christian faith and form community with other young people and their teachers. Outreach and caring for others and our world is a major emphasis. And everyone has lots of fun too!

Confirmation Class - grades 8 & 9

Youth in 8th and 9th grade explore what being a Christian is all about. Through worship, preparing and sharing meals, group discussions, service projects and other activities, youth learn more about their faith and decide whether or not to join the church as young adult members.

Vacation Bible Camp

In 2010 we offered "Under Construction" - A Habitat for Humanity VBC

Vacation Bible Camp (VBC) is offered for one week in the summer. It runs from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for children from pre-school to grade 5. It includes arts & crafts, music, classwork, snack and stories around a particular theme. Each year, focusing on a specific theme, the children learn about caring for, sharing with and helping our neighbors and how God calls us to serve others.
